Replacing interior headliner in Class C
I am looking at purchasing a Class C Winnie. It is an older model, 2003. Aside from normal issues with an RV of that vintage, there is one glaring problem. The rooftop AC unit leaked and stained the headliner. It is significant and very visible, however, it never reached the sidewalls. Delamination is not an issue as far as I can tell. Now I could try to remove the stain, but I seriously doubt the staining will come out to my satisfaction.
My feeling is the best solution is replace the headliner. It is a fabric and appears to be glued to the roof. Has anyone tackled something like this? If so, am I in over my head (pun)?
