If you can take off an airline close to the cylinder and put a few drops of air tool oil in it. Then activate the cylinder a dozen times or so. The oil will often get rid of the leak if you can get it inside the cylinder. Putting oil outside the seal usually does nothing as the oil is just wiped off by the outer seal.
