RV antifreeze

I bought mine at Rural King at $2.00 a gal. Wentzville , Mo.

On the farm where I work we have to buy 50 gallons to winterize the farm weed sprayer. It's cheaper to buy it in gallon jugs then it is to buy it in bulk. One of my jobs before every winter is to open and dump in the jugs one at a time.

In addition to above posts, look on the label to be sure it says non-staining. Menard's in our area is presently 2.49 not on sale.

We have to buy about 15 gallons of the stuff but not for the RV. We have an unheated garage with a full bathroom and several water hydrants. We winterize the plumbing on our property before we head south for the winter. We are fulltimers so just have a garage, no house. We are always looking for a good price on RV antifreeze.

They haven't had that sale in the past two years. I used to get it there also

Not necessarily true. I have found just the opposite to be true. WalMart RV antifreeze has been one of the better performers for me.

prestone brand has no alcohol and is about $1.00 more at wallyworld.
but I have used the "cheap" stuff for many years with no ill effects.

3.49/gallon... (And to think I changed to air at 1.00/gallon cause it was so expensive).

Seriously not the real reason I switched.

The local Ace hardware store runs it on sale a couple times a year for $1.99/gallon. Just gotta be aware when they have a sale.

I usually pay $2.50 a gal. I`ve only seen it once at $2!
