Scipio/Beaver Flying J Tire Shops fined

I had my first experience with them about 7 years ago. Told me my left front tire was about to separate...that tire was about 3 months old and continued just fine for another 30,000 miles until I sold that MH.

"The Division of Consumer Protection last month fined a company owning rural Utah gas stations and repair shops $10,000 for what documents describe as pressuring motorists into buying tires they didn't need."

Evidently conviction and fine will not make a difference to the owner and employees. I was well aware of the scam, as we use the Scipio station often and less than a month ago, while topped there fueling, an employee from the tire shop walked over and examined the tires on my trailer. Once a thief, always a thief.
