SHOUTOUT FOR DOMETIC
1. The DW and I purchased a Dometic revolution 310 toilet for out fiver in July 2011. According to Dometic's website, the toilet has a two year warranty. In mid August of this year the toilet developed a problem. The seal where the porcelain bowl meets the plastic base gave way and started to leak. I took a shot and called Domectic it ask if it could be repaired. The agent I spoke to asked me for the serial number, which I provided, and she informed me that I was out side the two warranty period. I told her that I understood that, but wanted to know if I could fix it. She stated unfortunately there was no fix, because it is a factory sealed unit. She then, to my surprise, offered to replace the toilet free of charge including shipping charges to my home. I would be resonsible for installation charges only. She asked me if this was acceptable, to which I eagerly agreed. The entire evolution took less than a week as I received the replacement toilet today via UPS. I plan on installing it this weekend.
