Solar panels
Solar Panels? Are they really worth it?
We don't boondock much mainly cause we've become electric dependent. But thinking of upgrading our unit and getting one with a generator/solar panels. State/Corp parks (our main stays) have become so popular, that reservations are almost needed. That's not our our style, we like to wing it. Don't like to make reservations for several reasons.
A. We're retired, schedules ain't us no more!
B. Plans and destinations change as does the weather.
C. We like to explore and try new campgrounds. Don't want pick a site from a brochure or website. Research to your hearts content, it's never as advertised.
So our thoughts were to leave the maddening crowd, state & corp parks, and head to the toolies, but, ahha, need power!
