Texans: are you gonna take this

The best way to serve an armadillo is to get a cedar board that will fit in your oven , clean the dillo , put in the middle of the board . Place carrots , onions and a few tators inside the aradillo . Cook at 350 for 45 minutes . Remove and let cool for a little bit . Place armadillo and vegetables in the trash and then eat the board .

OK now tell me it tastes like chicken.

In the 1970s I drove across Texas in a 1967 VW Westie. 50 mph on the flats. I'm sure back then it was 2000+ miles border to border. Endless....

That may be true, but on our way to San Diego to pick up our first RV I was beginning to wonder if we were ever going to leave Texas. 800 plus mile hike border to border. :E

But an enjoyable hike it was.....

Texans love to brag about how BIG the state is. Inform a Texan if they cut Alaska in half- (drum roll) Texas will be the third largest state.

I had the worst chile relleno ever in Del Rio. They could send a few truck loads up and take Colorado w/o firing a shot. Bring gas masks....
