#2 I had been through there three times before that day and saw a couple rapid stops.

Why make any assumption? Why have a thread bashing people who already have enough problems in their lives due to the accident. At any time one of these accidents could involve someone from this forum. Maybe someone you've met and enjoyed over the years.
If it had been you in the accident, I'm sure you would prefer not to be the subject of such assumptions. So why not give others the same courtesy?
