Which is a good reasonably priced GPS for an rv?

I did some research. It seems that there is some rule or law about television screens in commercial vehicles. Some interpet a laptop as being a television screen even tho it is being used for road navigation like an over the counter GPS, ie Garmin. I think if you had to go to court because of the laptop you were using for navigaition you would be found not guilty. Grin

What! What law is there that makes a laptop in a vehicle illegal? I'm astonished.

It is about the functionality of the device and "viewable by driver", even if you just listen to the turn commands. At least that was my story,lol.

I've used the RM 7720 since March and haven't had any issues. I also own a Garmin Nuvi. I was able to update the RM in 15 minutes yesterday, but the Nuvi took over two (yes 2) hour to update the maps. (And this is with an 8 gig card installed.) I plan on giving the Nuvi to my son and I'll stick with the RM 7720.

I use the rand mcnally rvnd 7710, and have had absolutely no issues with it. Has not led mw wrong in over 9, 000 miles of travel.

There is now the RandMcNally app for the Ipad that is the same as thier RV GPS,only $99.If you dont have the gps chipset you can get an addon for under a 100.I allready have the addon gps for another hobby so this is how I am going.

Microsoft Streets and Trips 2013 or better with GPS dongle and your laptop.

Just bought a Garmin 50LM refurbished for $75, no fr., no tax.(new warranty) Really a great GPS. Have the free Garmin Base Camp that you can fiddle with you way points and such. Garmin Express lets you get free updates, vehicles and voices. Lots of fun and entertaining.
