? Will Lime-A-Way Damage Toilet or Seals?

Will using Lime-A-Way cause any damage to toilet and tank seals? I assume it's safe for the plastic toilet itself, have yet to see it do any damage to anything plastic. But I don't know about the RV's (rubber?) gaskets/seals.

Problem: Years of uber-hard water has left an invisible and undesirable coating of mineral on/around the toilet bowl (SeaLand). Scrubbing with brush and rag with dish soap won't take it all off. Don't want to use greenie pad or scouring powder because that will scratch.
  • I use SOS pad to clean water stains in shower. It doesn't scratch. That Lime away is very caustic stuff.
  • Squirt a generous amount of liquid automatic dishwashing liquid in your toilet and let it sit. After an hour, use a toilet brush and scrub it and flush it. If it breaks down lime and water spots on your favorite wine glasses, imagine what it will do for your bathroom? (FYI, works great on glass shower walls and doors too).
  • use vinegar instead...let it sit in the bowl for an hour or so, then scrub and flush.
  • From product sheet:
