Yes, but there are regional variations and diseases that just aren't where you are at home, so this is a good question.
As far as vaccinations, core vaccinations should be up to date (rabies, parvo, distemper, hepatitis). Lepto is becoming more of a problem in some regions, so that is a possible addition. Going through campgrounds, rest areas it might be a good idea to add Bordetella (kennel cough)and should be considered. Lyme isn't real big threat until you get to the upper midwest. (We live and travel in this area and do not do lyme vaccination on ours, but are meticulous about fleas/tick control).
Heartworm prevention, flea and tick control is a must.
