Really angry. . .
A daughter of a friend has a pair of Welsh Corgis. They apparently bought them as a breeding pair but multiple litters later, they have "discovered" an apparent genetic flaw. Only 6 of 22 puppies have lived. So, she is selling the pair. They are not neutered, but suggests whoever takes them will want to do that, unless they want to do testing to figure out what the problem is.
I could scream. They have been in the home and well cared for. I want to lecture her, but I'm sure it will not change things. I gave her a link to a Corgi rescue and she thanked me. I certainly hope she can get them into rescue. That would probably be better than her keeping them.
Pets are FOREVER. I know, I'm preaching to the choir here. I am thoroughly disgusted by some people's ignorance and callousness.
I'm going to take my two to bed now and hug and love on them.
