I too ordered an Elim 3000 recently direct from Elim; recieved it promptly, and like others, some of the crankcase oil had leaked out in shipping. Wiped it down & it started just fine. The recoil started didn't engage properly, so called Tracey at Elim. She immediately shipped a new recoil starter.
To get all the output to my 30amp 110 RV plug, I purchashed an adapter that plugs into both of the 110 20amp outlets & provides the 30amp female. I'm extremely pleased with the $300 generator, especially since I was going to buy a much more expensive one until I found this forum & read all the input.
