see the dotted line connecting blue & white at the outlet
and again for red & brown
look on the outlet ( open the cover )
if the copper tabs are still there, so that there is a solid connection
on each side, then you can get full power to one plug
if that tab is missing on each side
then you have 1/2 power/amps on each socket
and need an adapter or to replace the socket
the wires appear to be parallel correctly
