I have been following this topic in hopes of finding a lighter generator to replace the 5500 watt coleman I presently own. I just came across a Champion 4000 watt peak, 3500 watt running, that has a separate 30 amp camper type plug built into the unit. It is available from Advance Auto Parts (www.advanceautoparts.com). The part number is C46540 @ $329.00 plus shipping. I am still trying to find out if it is carried in any of the retail stores. This sure makes it easier than messing with adapters or re-wiring another generator.
