All I can tell you is that several people on here have successfully done that, rewired for full power from one outlet. I haven't done it, but the info is here in the thread if you have the time to read through. Someone else will probably chime in. If you are sure that the ebay seller sent you a different brand than advertised, he should accept a return and refund you. The seller probably doesn't know the difference since they look alike, maybe you could explain that to him.
