Doesn't seem to bother paint either. Today most rental shops just clean them up with a pressure washer and let them dry before sending them out again. You'd be surprised what these generators will withstand. They certainly aren't "Watches".
Anyone have any particular thoughts about the cleaning of these generators my particular one being the Champion RV Ready 3500watt.
