Yes, I noted that all you said is true. But the speed ice is made and the amount we use makes it a real plus. Those issues have not outweighed the convenience it gives us.
Anyway, the "softer" ice makes really great frozen Margaritas with no ice chunks!
...... and it will run off of a Chinese generator.
