most of the noise come from the front & intake sides of the engine NOT the exhaust
Gen-Turi exhaust extensions are good for CO removal, but won't do anything for noise reduction
for that you need to a box/compartment and then a lot of airflow to cool it, and relocate the muffler outside the box to remove the heat
from the exhaust
