I have been told to expect the price of the model 40026 , which is RV ready and has the Intelligauge, will be reduced from a suggested retail of $349 to $299 for the next 6 mos. Retailers may drop their shelf price accordingly. This is one heck of a value at this price. It DOES NOT come will the Over Voltage Switch, but still has great use. Pass the word around for those looking for a great bargain.
TO McLOVIN:
On the Champion 1200. The engine is a Mitsubishi design rather than a Honda design. It is a nice little unit but lacks the voltage regulation and cleaner waveform of it's big brother. I also have and occasionally use a Champion 1200 around the ranch for situations where I need power for hedge clippers, drills, etc. You would do well to purchase one as a small backup or spare.
