AC not cooling

It is a Colman 15K and it is not putting out any cold air. What are things I should check before I take it somewhere to have checked out

Switched from FAN to FAN & COMPRESSOR you should hear and feel the compressor cut in. First step in troubleshooting.

clean the coils with a sprayer hose, check the filter inside the rv. Cleaning coils requires the roof a/c cover to be removed. At that time you can also check the fan on the roof to be sure there are no insect nests etc impeding the fan and/or leaves and debris on the condenser coils.

Is it frosted solid? Is the filter clean?

All they'll do when you take it somewhere is tell you that the unit is not serviceable, and it must be replaced.

Is the compressor running when you turn it to max cool?
