Atwood furnace does not start.

Our 2013 1575 Lance TT comes equipped with an Atwood Furnace (model no. 7920-II), it doesn't want to start. The DSI was replaced 2 years ago and the furnace worked fine. Last year when we switched it on nothing happened. No fan, no clicks or anything. We took it to get checked and the technician got it working by using a reset switch.

We just took the trailer out of storage and again the furnace doesn't start, there are no clicks, no fan, etc. The A/C works fine. We found the reset switch by removing the brown metal cover in front of the furnace. But switching the reset switch off and on and off and on again has not helped, the furnace doesn't do anything. We're going to need it this next weekend, on our way to a National Park, and we hope there's a simple remedy. Maybe there's procedure to using the reset switch?

We hope there's a simple solution. Thanks

Locate the thermostat wires in the furnace and do it there.

The thermostat operates the A/C and the furnace, there's a switch, left for cool, and right for heat, and it's working for the A/C.

Looks like we'll need to take it in later. For the National Park where some cold mornings are forecast we're going to an Academy today to check out the Little Buddy portable heaters.

Thank you for your replies.

It could be a bad thermostat.
Remove the thermostat cover and connect the two wires together. the furnace should come on immediately and start producing heat after the time delay operates. This will be 10-20 seconds. If this happens separate the two wires. Burner should shut down and the furnace will go into cool down and then shut off.
Only reset on some furnaces is on the fan motor. Small red or white push button.

If you just took it out of storage make sure your batteries are OK and if you disconnected the batteries in storage make sure they are reconnected (or check the battery disconnect switch).
