Dometic (1997) RM2310 Fridge Pilot Flame ?

Once the thermostst is satisfied (temp wise per setting) about how long should it take for the flame to go to the "pilot" flame ?

Is there much difference in the flame to the untrained eye.

It's my understanding there are "2" flame setting Pilot & On for lack of a better word.

Anyone provide a pic or possibly a link to some pics of both a pilot flame and normal flame ?

Any info appreciated. Thanks

    Once the tstat is satisfied, the gas valve/tstat should then go to Low (pilot) flame. Yes, you can tell the difference. The BEST way to test is to operate on MAX cold setting on the LP tstat let run 24 hours and then in the morning before the heat gets to the RV, between 6 and 9 am, have someone turn the tstat back to the warmest setting while you watch the flame. You will see it go from full and then just a little lower for Bypass mode. Doug
