That would be an unnecessary expense. If you make sure your exterior fans are working and add another fan, (as mentioned by Doug Rainor) at the top exhaust location,(be it roof or slideout location) your cooling problems will probably be over.
There are many previous posts on this forum and others about converting to a residential fridge but that often is more expensive and time consuming due to additional carpentry mods needed. I find it commendable that some folks will take these steps as the less than stellar quality/safety of some NoCold & Dometic fridges in existing rvs doesn't leave us with a warm fuzzy feeling. If you are in fact unhappy with your current units performance, the most logical/economical replacement would be to replace the cooling unit tubes. etc on the rear of the fridge with heavier duty ones manfactured by the Amish folks.
