I had the same problem while the RV was under warranty and the dealer replaced the entire stove, propane tank, and propane regulator just about a year ago.. The smaller burner on my two burner propane Dometic stove won't light. It's sparking but not getting any propane. Before it completely wouldn't start, for two days I'd see an on-and-on flame but it wouldn't stay lit. I removed the top two pieces and found a pool of water so cleaned that out. I'm wondering if I just need to clean the jet (with a safety pin? I remember being told to never do that on other propane appliances so I'm hesitant to try that here) or if there's anything else I can try.

Have you taken the burner apart and cleaned all the small passages in it? Our home range does the same thing, just clean the burner and it will probably work fine. The burner may not even need a tool to take it apart, mine does not.

OK, unless you can find a blockage somewhere I guess you need to get a gas company tech to look at it.

Take the burner off, scrub it thoroughly, followed with a tooth pick thru all the burner holes. My guess ypu overflowed a pot or there is enough crud covering the holes to prevent a flame. Same thing happens on my stove at home. Easy fix.

I don't know the model of your stove but if it has one small burner and one larger burner, you probably have a very small jet for the small burner and it is like you thought, plugged. Remove the jet, clean the jet by blowing from the burner side with some compressed air. Then blow out the inside of the threaded collar and look for light through the orifice. Turn on the propane for that burner for about five seconds(I know you will observe all the propane and explosive gas safety rules, Right?)You will also need to remove the hose or pipe from the regulator and verify there isn't any water in them. If you open the main valve that is before the regulator it is my understanding you will get a big puff of propane and then nothing. Federal Safety Feature. Use an air compressor to blow out the pipe and hose to make sure it is clean and unobstructed. Probably will be, seeing as how the other burner was working A-Okay.If that doesn't solve your problem, I'm sorry but you're toast, or at least something I didn't mention is.

No propane is coming up through the jet, so the burner isn't the problem.

Again, the burner isn't the problem. I initially removed the burner and confirmed no propane is coming up through the jet. If there's no propane through the jet, of course no propane is reaching the burner.

You think the burner isn't the problem but try cleaning it anyway. It doesn't take 10 minutes to do so.

Do you know how I remove the jet so I can blow it out? It seems to be pretty much recessed into the base of the stove.

It's not at all clogged or dirty. Until I get propane coming through the jet, I'm going to focus on the problem, not other things.
