Freshwater Drain Valve Leak

I have a leaking freshwater drain valve. It started out as an occasional drip, now is a fairly steady small leak and will drain 100 gallons or so of water within a couple days. Has anyone ever fixed/replaced one? Where can I get the part(s)? How difficult is it to access (I assume from underneath the coach)?

My rig is a 2004 Itasca Meridian 36G - it's essentially the same coach as the Winnebago Journey.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

I have one that will drip if I close to the stop. If after hitting the stop, I back it off just a tad, I get no drip. Been working that way for years.

Location of valve.....that should be easy to find. Look for wet spot on ground.

Type of valve.......either a 1/2" Flair-it or 1/2" Sharkbite/Gatorbite
Flair-It is a compression screw on type valve
Sharkbite/Gatorbite are a push/snap on type valve (more expensive)
Sharkbite--Home Depot
Gatorbie---Lowes

Difficulty.....depends on access to valve. Valve is probably installed with a PEX crimp so the crimp band will need to be cut off to remove valve.
IF using a 'bite' type valve.....just cut PEX pipe in too (Clean/straight cut) cause the 'bite' type valves need a smooth pipe to seal
Is it time for your medication or mine?

The valve can probably be replaced with a standard plumbing ball valve from the hardware store but I have no idea what you have. Got a picture?
