No freshwater drain valve?

Thanks Tim....... I figured it out. There was a panel attached by screws I just missed. Last night I removed the screws and put some velcro strips on it to make it easier to remove when I need to. Thanks for the offer to help though!

I have a 2014 Coachmen Freelander 28QB. On mine, the foot half of the bed platform is hinged and lifts up to provide access to the water pump, the fresh water tank, and all of the drains.

Because I never hook up to water and use the tank and pump exclusively, draining it after every trip, I relocated my fresh water tank drain valve to the outside of the coach. It is positioned below the water inlets and shore power cord.

I don't know how similar your coach is to mine, but I have made several other modifications that you may be interested in.

Yep that was it. As it turned out, my water pump actually did a good job of emptying it. Only a few drops when I opened it, but when I flipped my other lever to fill the freshwater tank, it came right out on the ground out of that tube. Thanks guys for all your help.

Makes sense. Open it and shine a flashlight underneath to notice water running out onto the ground.

Open your faucets and hot water tank popoff to help it drain.

I think you've found the drain valve. Just open it and all the water should drain out of the tank.

Well...apparently in addition to being blind, I am also incapable of posting photos here. Anyway, I see the bottom of the tank.There's a line coming out of the lowest possible point on the tank. That seems to feed the rest of the coach, but there's a T in there (as you guys have mentioned) which feeds one of those plastic tubes that goes out through the floor. That valve is closed now...I'm assuming if I open it, it will catch any remaining water and run it out that opening, thereby draining the tank...does that make sense?

Well, apparently I'm blind. There IS a panel in the base, obviously designed exactly for this purpose. Here's a picture:

Seems like the valve I need is the one you can see there slightly hidden by the thick black plastic tubing...does that make sense? I mean, it's fed by the low point in the water tank so I'm assuming that's it?

It sounds like yours is similar to mine. Slide the mattress to one side. If you don't find an opening to allow you to reach into the area under the bed, slide the mattress the other way.

When you find the opening, use a flashlight to look in there. You will see the water pump, the valve that opens to allow the fresh water tank to drain through one of those tubes you saw below, and hopefully a tube hooked to a 3 way valve that will let you easily pump the pink stuff through your system if you so choose.

Mine also has shut offs for the outside shower. I can winterize the system, close the shut offs for the outside shower, dewinterize the RV, and have a fully functioning water system with the outside shower still winterized.

It is possible that the low point drain valves may be there also, although mine are elsewhere.

OK based on both of your answers, it seems like I'm going to have to dismantle the bed platform to get to this thing. That's definitely where the noise comes from when I run the water pump. So I'm guessing that those lines I see coming out the bottom are just the end of the drain, like you said. Ugh...I've got to come up with a better way. I've got a regular size queen size mattress in there that isn't easy to move in a tiny room, and then a plywood panel with a million screws in it and no access panel that I can see...thanks guys
