G2000 Girard Awning problem
I had my rv in the shop having new brakes installed. I brought it home a couple of days ago. I decided to extend the electric awning so I could get some shade while I checked the Hydrohot out.
The awning extended fine with the remote. Later i closed the awning and it closed fine. I extended it again a bit and stopped it. Then I pushed the retract button and it went out farther. tried again and the same.
I changed the remote battery, and still only goes out.
I did call Girard and talked with tech support. He has never heard of this happening before. He thinks it may be a relay in the wind sensor box stuck. He thinks the motor is ok though.
Has anyone had this issue and fixed the problem?
