5% THD is awful. Did not say not to buy the unit, just that 3% is a lot of waveform flex.
Wonder how they establish their test values?
Unloaded?
Resistive Load?
Inductive load?
Full load?
Percentage load?
No load?
One company might be testing one way the second, another.
But there should be ZERO waveform distortion unloaded if the unit is intended for use with inductive loads like a microwave oven.
