New Cougar - Furnace wont heat above 60

Just took delivery of a brand new Cougar 33SAB travel trailer. For some reason the furnace will not heat the inside of the unit to more than about 58-60 degrees... its been about 25 degrees overnight.

This is my third camper and I've always been able to heat to 70+ at temps well below 25 outside.

Fan seems to be pushing an appropriate amount of air, it just seems like the air coming out isn't as warm as I'm used to.

Also, it seems as though every few minutes it'll blow cooler air for a while and then go back to somewhat warmer.

Help? Really not wanting to wait weeks for a warranty appointment. ๐Ÿ˜•

Thanks in advance!

That sounds like the furnace is hitting the high limit.

When it does, the burner shuts off until the high limit sensor thinks the temperature has dropped to a safe point. This when you feel the cool air. Then the burner comes back on and you feel heat.

Look for an obstruction right near the furnace, that would be the most likely culprit.

It could also just be a defective or improperly positioned high limit switch.

Anything restricting the air flow ?

Does the furnace kick off before the temps on the thermostat is reached ?

Enclosed underbelly ?

Enclosed underbelly (no gaps). Nothing at all restricting air flow.

If I move the thermostat below the inside temp, the unit will cycle off as normal... burner shuts off then a short time later the fan stops. But with the thermostat set between 65-70 the fan runs constantly and as I mentioned, it seems as if the burner cycles on/off occasionally.

Propane tanks are full and if I light all three stove burners while the furnace is running, they all burn at what seems to be 'normal', which makes me think its not the regulator.
