- Ebay? For best warranty coverage be sure it is from an authorized seller.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi D and A,
An inverter needs to exceed the surge demand from the device it is being used to run--usually by about 25%. So if start up requires 1000 watts the inverter should be sized at 1250 watts. Pure sine wave has dropped in price to the point where it ought to be the first choice. - D_and_A_plus_6ExplorerWhen looking at an ivertor what all should you look at or look for? I see them on E-Bay all prices. I also think I know you get what you pay for. All I plan on using it for is the Frig while on the road, the frig will be already cold, and most of ours trips will be 4 hrs or less and the TV should be keeping the batterys charged while driving.
Thanks for any info. - BFL13Explorer IIWatch for sales. Eg this one made by Xantrex is on sale right now but not for long. !000w PSW for $149. I have this one from last year's sale. Works great.

think I bought ours at OsH - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
In my previous RV I did run a 2000 watt MSW inverter on two group 29 12 volt jars. They lasted a long long time. I used the inverter to run a 750 watt hot plate for 30 minutes at a time.
