Steve
I've done exactly that a few times over my RV'ing years. I just drill on appropriate sized hole in a piece of flat stock and square it up with a square or triangular file before cutting and bending the piece to its final shape. As I recall, the screw is a short 6 or 8-32 machine screw. Easy enough to cut a longer one down if necessary... - maillemakerExplorerI guess I'll fabricate a new latch myself.
Steve - Edd505ExplorerAny hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot, RV supply. Whole thing about $10.
- wnjjExplorer IIThey’re called cam locks. Yours seem to have quite a large offset so that will be your only challenge.

McMaster-Carr may have more offset choices: https://www.mcmaster.com/cam-latches - prichardsonExplorerEntire latch is also available at hardware and home supply stores. Only thing is it will not be keyed with a CH751 key.
- RobWNYExplorerBest to just change the lock as colliehauler suggested. Most storage compartment locks use the standard Latch Key #CH751
- colliehaulerExplorer IIIYou can purchase a complete lock on Ebay, Amazon or RV parts store for around $10.
