- If the rig's rear bumper sags more than four or five inches between loaded, not loaded add more leaves to rear springs. If the complaint is excessive leaning around curves a rear sway bar will help. a bigger front sway bar will further improve stability
- As noted the best-rated shock absorbers are a must:I like KONI but maybe there isn't a number available
- Maybe after these upgrades you won't need the steering fixes
- nomad2013ExplorerI just posted the topic. I thought it would go into a general topic agenda.

- kopy_katExplorerMy last 28’ MH on a Ford F450 chassis had these upgrades:
Bilstein 4500 series shocks
Bilstein steering damper
Firestone front airbags in the front springs
Steering box adjustment for tighter response
Proper front wheel alignment for the weight of the unit
Tireman brass extenders on each wheel to easily keep tire pressure at the proper psi
With all of this, the 28’ MH handled very well.
The next step would have been a Roadmaster rear sway bar, but I ended up trading the unit in for my current fifth wheel. - Roger10378Explorer IISo why are you posting in 5th wheel?
