Volta Power Systems

https://voltapowersystems.com/industry-solutions/lithium-ion-energy-storage-rv/

Anyone here using their products?

Just stumbled onto this the other day and it looks fantastic - and must be incredibly expensive. But you high-roller full-timers are probably already on it!.

Anyone?

"Experience more power. Volta systems leverage automotive-grade technology and the highest energy density on the market to deliver double the power in 1/3 of the space and 1/6 of the weight."

And solar panels not required! (but optional).
  • Relion lithium 48v pack. Not volta. Not near those Volta specs.
  • Read the lingo...

Volta Power Systems © 2017. All Rights Reserved. Made in America: Volta high-quality energy management systems are made and assembled in America.

Bet'cha their batteries are built by someone else. These folks sound like makers of control systems.
  • I did not bother to check the price, but any DIY person can put together the same type of a system. A couple of tips for DIYers

    • Buy as much battery capacity as you can afford. If you have the space, lead-acid batteries will save you a LOT of money.
LiIon weight less, take less space and last longer IF you have a large wallet !
    • You ABSOLUTELY need a DC-DC charging solution so that the house batteries get properly recharged while driving
    • Find an inverter/charger/automatic transfer switch like theses from Samlex

I really like the Samlex unit because all connections are made in one place. Another bonus with the Samlex inverter/charger/automatic transfer switch is that it is setup so you can easily add generator (with optional auto-start) and solar !
