Water pump

Question

This year when I winterized the motorhome, I goofed and forgot that the water pump was on and hit the check valve on the city water inlet on the outside. Had to replace the city water inlet due to the check valve messing up. After I replaced it, I went to run some more antifreeze through the lines. I turned on the pump and you can it hear it running, but it's not sucking up any of the antifreeze.

Easy fix?

Something downstream of pump needs to be open for pump to prime

Once you turn the pump on, you need to open one of the faucets so it will stat pumping the pink.

hmmm...I thought I did have a faucet open, but maybe not...I will retry... Thanks guys.

I usually leave some water in the FW Tank prior to pumping pink stuff which maintains the prime. Then I drain the tank.
If opening one faucet doesn't work try opening another one. I have a short hose connected to the pump inlet for pink stuff. As a last resort try pouring some pink stuff down the hose to prime the pump.

I have a hose I attach to pump the pink stuff in.
