14 Kodiak 200qb frsh water tank drain

Ok i must have missed when the guy was explaining how to drain the fresh water tank or he didn't cover it at all and me being a knob i didn't realize is.So instead of me having to make a trip to the dealer i figure that i would ask the great people on here for help first. So any help on how to drain my fresh water tank would be great
THANKS
  • Usually there are labels on the side saying "Fresh Water Drain" etc.
The "Low Point Drain" doesn't drain my water heater.
  • One by axle is fresh water.

The two back corner are low point drains used when winterizing unit, not fresh water drains. Yes to drain water heater.

First couple times hard to get off may take pliers.

Once I used it several times I just hand tightened.

Have fun we really enjoyed our qb, recently went to a Class C!

Ok so its the hose thats sticking down about 1-2" in front of the axles with a white plastic cap thats kinda of hard to get off? So is the one in the back driverside thats got a red fitting with white cap the hot water tank then? And do i need to drain those seperate or will the hot water tank drain when i'm draining the fresh tank?

  • Lie (or is it lay?) on the ground under the tank and you should see a pipe hanging down from it with a valve (ours it called a petcock with a handle that rotates to drain the tank)
It may be difficult to see from the side of the RV.
You could also get a mirror to look under there like the officers use at the border crossings from Mexico!
