2001 Jayco Kiwi 17

Picked this up for a great price about 6 months ago. Have had it out twice and really are enjoying it. Haven't seen any others out here in Ca.

  • I had pimped the ride by putting chrome wheels on it! It really was a terrific trailer!
  • When I bought this trailer it had been sitting for almost ten years, so the roof caulking was shot and there was some water damage. had to re-do the lap seals and am periodically checking and re-sealing. The previous owner apparently was not informed of the importance of the lap seals or he just neglected to tell me. Non the less, got it for such a good price, it didn't matter.
  • If you note my profile, I too owned a Kiwi 17A. Actually purchased it on e-bay .... it had been sent back to the plant to have water damage repaired, so it was a bonus for me. Great trailers, if they were maintained the way they were supposed to be ..... and I blame that on the dealer, sell it to you, and see you later. Buyers should have been informed the importance of checking/resealing roof caulking! That's why there arte so many Kiwis with water dameage
  • End of August, I bought a used Kiwi 23b. Had to do some work on the floor so only got to use it once this season. Can't wait until spring to uncover, de-winterized, pack up and get some great camping in.
  • Wow that looks almost exactly like my 1999 R-vision Bantam 17 hybrid. Front bed just a little bigger than the back bed, and the tiniest bathroom shower combo imaginable, yeah I love every night we spend in it
  • hybrid TT's are rare out in California.
we've had ours for 8 years now and we rarely ever saw any other hybrids in California State Parks.
new ones have inflated prices and the rare used ones fetch higher prices than top NADA prices.

congrats on joining the Hybrid world. They are perfect for California, since we can camp year-round.
  • Congratulations! We had an '03 Kiwi 17a. We bought it new and used it for 10 years. It was a great trailer.
