:) Hi, I virtually did the same thing, while working at a Ford dealer. I found a few with windshield leaks and a few with a pin hole in the "A" pillar post upper corner. I also explained to my customers that there is a difference between a wind noise and a wind leak. Some wind noises are normal; Wind leaks are not.

took a 2016 escape into the dealer for a warranty problem .the dealer accidently broke the wind shield and replaced it with an aftermarket windshield ,it had a a flute noise coming from the windshield after it was replaced, it was resealed and still had the noise ,another dealership looked at it and told me to take it back to the other dealer and have them put a carlite sound shield windshield back in it, the original dealer put the carlite back in and no noise , it seems the aftermarket windshield flexes causing the noise

Just went threw this and I took truck to local glass shop and they lifted rubber gasket and injected some sealer and it secured the rubber again and my noise is gone. Driver corner only

It sounds like you should pick up a roll of 2" wide blue painters tape, it will remove easy without leaving behind a lot of flue on your truck paint.

Then cover the gaps on the drivers door, and leaving it shut, go for a test drive on the freeway. If it goes away, I would suspect the drivers door seal. Try the same thing with the passenger door.

If it does not go away, then cover the windshield, and go up the drivers side, then across to the passenger side on top and bottom. Test drive again at 60or so. Go away? Now it seems like removing and resealing the windshield will work to solve that problem.

I had a wind noise coming from my door seal, no it was the window seal. Hang on, it was the windshield. Turns out it was the weather strip along the front of the hood.

Vehicle noises can be a lot of fun to isolate.

Not uncommon problem on 2011 and 2012. Usually solved back then by pulling windshield and re-sealing under warranty. Didn't show up on our 2012 until after warranty expired but only does it when pushing a 50 mph wind at 70 mph.

Had my 2012 in dealership for same issue and of course they could not find anything out of ordinary on that day....... go figure.

My 2011 does the same thing. Sounds like the driver door seal. Sounds like an airplane door is open.

I had a similar issue with my 2010 windshield. The wind had to be in the right direction for it to happen, so it was hard to recreate on demand, but was really annoying when the whistling started happening. I put strips of duck tape on the drivers side bottom portion of the windshield and up the side. Finally found the spot, but never knew exactly where it was because the last time I put tape on I did a bunch before a cross country trip back in 2013. All the tape has weathered off and the noise has not reappeared for whatever reason.

Remove the radio antenna. Camper mirrors in outward most position? Have someone else drive and you sit in pass seat and move your fingers along door seal. Move seal as you go to see if pitch changes.

Oops, just re-read OP. antenna may not work. Neither will some else driving. But do run fingers along door seal just the same. Likewise, do you have camper mirrors? Any diff in in or out? Window vent visors? Broken?
