Just a sheet of the kinda fiberglass stuff over a aluminum or wood frame hung insulation (if any) and backed by 1/8" or so Luan paneling on the back side. The front and rear cap does seem to be constructed as you say your Whitehawk is, which is kind of throwing me off because I am used to the old Roo being solid as a rock. I climbed a ladder and this feels a little different than the rest of the front cap. The front cap has give in it when you press on it, but this feels like there is more give than what I would consider normal normal.
I did also notice that the caulking job on the bottom right of the marker light isn't the greatest so that may be where water got in. We had a really wet month of June so it makes me think this needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
