2015 Keystone Passport Delamination

It better be covered by warranty. If you get nowhere with the dealer call the manufacturers directly.

Not absolutely certain, but if your Passport is constructed like my Jayco WhiteHawk, the front cap is not laminated construction. Just a sheet of the kinda fiberglass stuff over a aluminum or wood frame hung insulation (if any) and backed by 1/8" or so Luan paneling on the back side. Our WhiteHawk is similarly rippled, no problems other than appearance.

Regardless that should be covered under warranty. It will be interesting to see what caused it. Has it been in rain?

The front and rear cap does seem to be constructed as you say your Whitehawk is, which is kind of throwing me off because I am used to the old Roo being solid as a rock. I climbed a ladder and this feels a little different than the rest of the front cap. The front cap has give in it when you press on it, but this feels like there is more give than what I would consider normal normal.

I did also notice that the caulking job on the bottom right of the marker light isn't the greatest so that may be where water got in. We had a really wet month of June so it makes me think this needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

My '14 Passport looks to be constructed the same way. The outer fiberglass on the front and back does not seem to be glued to the under structure. When you push on it there was always a gap or give. Might be built to float to prevent buckle or ripple during extreme temp changes. Your still under warranty so have it checked out.

The wife is home today so she just called the dealership and of course they are giving her the run around about how they don't have enough techs to look at it today. So she said ok how about tomorrow and they again said that it is going to be too busy tomorrow. She got a little more stern and they said that they are going to call back, but it's not looking good. I'm almost to the point of taking it up the road 2 miles to camping world to see if they will do the work.

Mine is starting to do the same thing in a small area. I have a laundry list of stuff I want fixed under warranty. The soonest I could get in is mid October. Since not of the issues are too major I just scheduled the appointment. I have had my trailer for about 6 months.

Call the manufacturer then email them the photo. You can bet they will not be happy about this being all over the net. This is a very active forum. They have probably already lost some potential customers, they will probably be anxious to make you happy. If they are smart, that is.

You call the dealer. If they do not set up appointment immediately; call the manufacturer. Email pictures, name, address, phone number of dealer where and when you bought it, and find all your paperwork, warranties and any other documents you have that pertain to the trailer. Hopefully by now you have heard from the dealership owner.

What dealership are you working with?

On the other hand I can understand that a dealer may not be able to get you in same day or next day but they should be able to get you an appointment to at least have it looked at and either put your mind at ease that it's ok and normal or no this needs to be fixed and schedule time for the repair.
