2016 arctic fox 811sb: wires from circuit breaker to tv, how

I can’t win. Forgot this 800w invertor is stupid loud wrecking my tv watching. Too bad I had to remember after everything was hooked up. I’m just going to use the solar wires for my subwoofer and buy a 100w invertor to go into the cigarette outlet. No noise no fuss.

For solar wires there is one long bundle behind control panel. One side marked battery the other side marked solar. I think it’s all one wire and I just need to cut right?

I could not fish 1 more wire through that wall on my 990. I needed 1 wire up to thermostat that controls a relay used to switch on and off the 120V that runs the AC.

mine is generator ready, and I use a honda 2000, so I "borrowed" one of the generator control wires.

Typical issue, getting from sink side thru front bulkhead to cabover.
Had to look, Ive done this 3 times, most recently need to run wires up to new levels monitor. First time was hard-wiring our inverter. Painful an understatement but doable. Drilling from under sink up at angle into cabinet in cabover.
However our campers lower cabinets don't wrap around the front as much. Looking at this

Have to ask if the monitor panel pulled, can fish wire be pushed down?
Suppose that would be too easy...but then you could go straight thru wall behind monitor and up thru cabinets.

Other thought is on the solar wires. As they are not connected, is there any freetravel/slack (without pulling thru) enough to attach string?
I'd also put inverter under counter closer to battery, if for no other reason only pulling smaller output wires.
But ya when I installed our inverter I thought it was going to be a simple afternoon project, into day 3 before buttoned up.

Here is complete different view on the solution.

there is a GFI outlet in my 990 right next to the kitchen sink.
This GFI has one AC line going down to AC circuit breaker (marked line side on GFI) and one AC line going to the rest of the outlets (marked load side).

I pulled the LINE side out of AC circuit breaker panel and ran it to the Center pair of terminals on a DPDT switch (double pole, double throw).

I wired one side of the DPDT switch to the AC circuit panel breaker.

I wired the other side of the DPDT switch to an AC plug that plugs into my 800w power inverter.

This switch is labeled Shore Power on one side and Inverter power on other side.

I mounted inverter on top of battery box, under sink and plugged in cable that goes to my outlet from step above.
(note, the way the switch is wired, this AC plug going to inverter will never be hot if its unplugged from inverter).

1)switch DPDT switch to Shore Power side.
2)turn on inverter

Now your inverter powers all the outlets inside the RV.
I have a power strip inside cabinet, with end fished through grommet to outlet for TV.

If you want to run this outlet chain on Shore power (or generator) just throw the switch the other direction (I have actually switched live and Satellite system does not reboot from lost of power).

This also gives you the ability to plug things into other outlets in RV to charge batteries when running on inverter.

on my 2016 990, I am 90% sure the outlet for the AC charger and Refrigerator are NOT on this GFI load outlet and have there own breaker. Same with Microwave, its on its own breaker was well. Its been a long winter and its still covered so I can't go check).

800w. I need power for 12v subwoofer too.

How big is your inverter? Why don't you use the 12v outlet next to the TV?

I think using the solar wires is easiest. I think I have a way to wire it such that it can be inverter or solar charger. Need to draw it up and think a bit harder.

I don’t want to tear everything apart or drill holes blindly. Supposed to be an afternoon project. :)

If you only remove the radio with the tool that came came with your information package, you can see the wiring but it is still hard to reach. You will notice that the cabinet forward of the sink where the TV mounts has a false bottom - Removing the bottom out of the inside of the cabinet will expose the wiring, the paths they take and give you better access.

I used the 12VDC outlet to power a 300W inverter for my 21" TV/DVD combo - I'm not sure what your audio sub draws, but something like mine may be enough to not need additional power runs.

I was trying to add an audio camp to my 811 years ago. I had the same problem - the hole was jammed full of wires. I thought about drilling a new hole but gave up fearing I'd screw something up due to limited space to actually get a drill to the spot where the hole needed to be.

Pulling the sink would have worked, but I never thought of that.

I gave up on the whole hole project and returned the amp.
