Is $42,500 a good price for a certified pre-owned 2016 Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins tradesman with 13,000 miles a good price. It has upgraded stereo with backup camera, parking sensors, running boards, spray in bed liner, and 5th wheel prep.

Thanks!

Grit dog, carfax doesn't show any major repairs. Just routine maintenance.

Sounds like a good vehicle!
What’s the sales tax there? You’re 39.5 otd so $36-37k purchase?
Never see that over here. All the used oneslike that are as much or more than new from Dillon or Dave Smith dealers.

What they ask and what they sell for and two completely different things. They will never tell you want they sell for!

Check out these guys.

https://www.31dodge.com/ Most 2018's should be available at 10-11K off if you stick to your guns.

Get it to a body shop or auto inspector to be sure it hasn't been in a wreck. A clean Carfax is no guarantee that it hasn't been damaged.

Is this from a Ram dealer ? Take the VIN to a Ram dealer service dept. and have them run the VIN to make sure this wasn't a buyback. One never knows nowadays.
You may want to price out a new one and see what that comes out at.

^ I'd want repair history to make sure the cream puff wasn't lemon flavored though...

No matter what it is, I'd want the service history, especially on an oil burner.

For what?
Aside from time based OCI, the truck hasn't really even hit the first service interval for anything.

Op doesn’t say what model but it’s at least a big horn if it has the good stereo and parking sensors.
$39500 otd incl tax is a pretty decent deal for an essentially new truck.

Read his post. He says Tradesman.

Oh yeah, missed it. Still a good deal OTD, but not a screamin deal since tradesman can be had low 40s new. Good used diesels at a decent price is hard to find so he did ok.

At 13k miles for a 2016, that almost guarantees that truck was not used out in the oil fields. Here in San Antonio/ south Texas area lots of used diesel trucks for sale with high mileage.

Sounds like a great truck if you like the exterior and interior color.
