3000HP 1969 Camaro tow vehicle runs 6.05 251.95 !

The new 1400HP Venom GT is the worlds fastest car and can only do the 1/4 mile in 9.4 sec @ 167mph.

Hennessey lists the new Venom GT's 1/4 mile at 9.4 seconds at 167 mph (269 km/h) and believes that the car can hit 280 mph (451 km/h) or so before it runs out of acceleration steam. If that proves correct, it'll be a nice, round milestone on the way to the potential 290+ mph of the Venom F5.

Yes, I read that in Hot Rod. The only problem is, those aren't street cars! They are funny cars with tail lights. Let's see them do that with a full on stock chassis, then I'll be impressed!

That's cool and interesting.
Now, if they could use some of that engineering and technology to get 20 mpg from a 35' motorhome. :)
