I feel all 3 trucks are good but the DW stories would scare me a little. fords always wandered and I have had some and driven others but not lately. GM trucks have driven so great for me it would be tough to change but WAIT I am not buying one so no test driving. I am old but not stupid.

AHH come on! You owe it to yourself to go test drive the latest and greatest.:B I mean you love your current truck so much you won't have a problem walking away anyway.....:W
Are you telling me you are wearing out your trucks that fast? Our 05 feels the same as when new to me. BUT if I needed any truck I could have any brand sold. Just why waste the money in this world it could be important . GMC is still like driving a new vehicle so we are not hurting just cheap. have fun.

In the real towing size trucks they make their own diesel engines and transmissions instead of sending a cheque away to Cummins or Allison or whoever else. By concentrating on one model (and will be even more so when Superduty starts using the aluminum cabs) they can lower their costs per unit.
So if they really wanted to sell on just "price" I bet they could undercut everyone and still make a bit per truck?
So what really defines the "best" truck, the highest sales numbers, or the one that many folks willingly pay more for than the others?
Something else to think about and stir this up a bit more eh?

1. Ford F-Series as usual
I think any accountant would look at total numbers sold, rather than who has the # 1 model. More sales, more money for the company coffers.
