Blue liquid coming from truck electrical connection

Hello!

Our neighbor just came over to tell me that the passenger break light was lit on our 2014 camplite truck camper. I decided I would disconnect the electrical from the truck so the battery wasnโ€™t being drained and leave it for my husband to check out when he got home.

I was surprised to have blue liquid coming down on me when I disconnected the electric hookup! See photos.... does anyone know what this is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't see the photos, but I suspect that water got into the connection and has been in there for some time. The copper connectors have oxydized and colored the water blue-ish.

Disassemble where possible, dry, clean, remove oxydation and see if everything is back to normal afterwards. Beware of 12V shorts - disconnect batteries beforehand.

Sometimes, they use a lubricant to pull wires through a conduit.
Maybe that's what you're seeing.
