My daughter was getting a little warm in her bunk during our last camping trip, so I decided to put her a fan in to keep the air flowing.

I had been wanting to add a 12-volt fan to the main living area anyway, so I decided to tackle both jobs today. A trip to Wal-Mart for two fans($8.48 each) and we're halfway there.

She picked the spot, and I got to work -

I picked up the power from her overhead light. All I have left is to install a short piece of wire cover and I'm done -

I added one in the main area -

I dropped by Lowe's and found this cool soap dispenser. I also just installed these Pop-a-Toothbrush holders -

I added a sopa dispenser to the kitchen area as well. I also installed a Pop-a-Napkin under the radio -

Here's an easy mod. I found this over the door towel rack at Walmart and it works great -

Whats wrong with the house in the picture? My guess is he has a nice TT or 5'er on the other side that we cant see and could care less about his house.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?

That house looks fine. I think that you are confusing the leaf-less dormant branches of the tree between the camera and the house for something wrong with the house.

Finally get to post in this thread thanks to Milzat! Just joined the forum a short while ago to try and find a solution to my lowriding camper and Milzat came to the rescue! Added a lift to my 03 Aerolite 25footer. Sewer pipe was originally only 5.5 inches off the ground, and after lift it is 10 inches.

Just make sure you keep the aluminum isolated from the steel. Aluminum in contact with steel results in galvanic corrosion and that place on the A-frame is a bad place to have in a weakened state.
I double checked with my son and we didn't do that out of aluminum. We did the storage for a table out of aluminum and I got them confused.

On about page 42 or something of this thread there is a mod for a Weight Distribution bar "holder" mounted on the A frame. My son did this for me and I thought I'd include a couple photos. He made it out of scrap aluminum found at the shop where he works. We painted it black to match the A frame.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a MOD, but I just installed this Space Saver Black and Decker Coffee Maker right before our first campout last weekend. Works great and saves a bunch of counter space.

Larry,

I looked at that idea and I thought it also looked cool. I almost did that, but the counter on mine overhangs so far, it would be hard to reach under it to access the shelf. Also I wanted to make it deep enough to hold tools, and taller items that wouldn't fit over the railing.

I didn't have to cut the counter, so I could put it back. I just slid it out from the wall a bit when I reattached it. I like the way yours looks too. Either way it is very convenient space for storage.

I realize the mod is a simple fix for those accidental moments, but whats more interesting is that the RV manufacture didn't even provide any on/off designation at the switch (or was the switch an add-on?).

Factory switch

I did have a factory label indicating on/off and I took the label off yesterday, along with another hideous label that had really small text on it.

The label currently on it is a new one I made.

I was admiring your large label, ours has the tiniest font! Then went back through the posts! We have giant labels on the tank heater switches though..... and they don't indicate what's on or off. I think we had the tank heaters on most of last summer! Love our Fox but there's some silly things.... I won't even tell you about the "solar ready" label! That's a whole other mod in it's self ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
