Judging from 6x6 supporting the camper nose he has more worry than crossed chains.
Probably just another one who thinks the camper can tip over forwards when he's sleeping in the cabover bunk. - PowerdudeExplorerThat looks awesome !!

Setting a truck camper on a flatbed isn't uncommon and it works great.
You get a porch and lots of room to carry stuff. Judging by the surfboard, it's probably a young guy who hasn't got the budget for a zillion dollar truck and RV. He's out there getting it done and probably having more fun than most of us.
Amen!
It is just amazing to me a person can sink over 100K into a new truck and truck camper.Getting it done and having fun is what it is all about. - burningmanExplorer IIThere's nothing wrong with that rig. Back in the day, everyone used full-size cars to tow large trailers.
That's a Crown Vic, full size full frame, with as strong a powertrain and better brakes than the big Olds Vista Cruiser wagons and Chevy Impalas everyone towed with way back when.

- 996PilotExplorerPersonally I like the attention to detail in that he found corrugated aluminum to match the camper side and put skirts on it down to the trailer -- even painted them to match :)

Don't fall for truck sellers pitching. Towing 5000 lb with full size sedan is perfectly safe and legal. - lakeside013104Explorer
