Eagle Cap 850

Hi All,

I see the model 850 is discontinued for 2019. Sad, a very versatile and well-equipped camper. It seems some truck campers are going to the open concept design and removing cabinetry to store belongings. We go camping in early spring and fall when it is cooler outside. We need the space for our stuff. We are not the t-shirt, shorts and flip flop season campers. It seems the larger entertainment center is in now. I do not go camping to watch TV. Maybe a movie is nice when it is ugly outside. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks Jeff Drennan
  • Looks like the 811 has a wardrobe that the 850 doesn't have.
  • That's to bad,Adventurer makes some good campers..As to the storage,I agree 100%..I just looked at an Adventurer 89RB and while only being a couple inches shorter than my currant Lance, the storage options were just not there. There is know wheel well storage or closet storage in the bunk area, and for food, nothing close to a pantry for canned goods.

Storage options in some of the TC's just don't exist compared to some of the older ones. There are some like Bigfoot/Northern Lite and Arctic fox that have plenty of storage options except the wheel wells I use all the time.
