Did a quick search and found over a dozen dissatisfied RV.net Maxxis ST tire owners although they do seem to be the most popular and the most reliable of the ST tires.
The Carlisle RH has a new belt added under the tread caps that is said will eliminate their terrible reliability issues. A few years will tell if it works out.
Having several equipment and enclosed tool trailers on the road running between jobs I've had nothing but problems with ST tires. I prefer tires that will last 7-8 years and 55k-65k miles on any of my trailers.
