And then they run Urea into exhaust systems and super heat it and dump it to atmosphere with no proof that it is harmless whatsoever. Watch your Grandkids have Elephant trunks and alligator tails.
Anhydrous Ammmonia is produced by superheating Urea andmixing woith Co2 and water. Both anhydrous and aqueous ammonia have been classified by the EPA as regulated toxic substances. Hazards from exposure vary from minor discomfort, to toxic poisoning and asphyxiation. Therefore ammonia restrictions, or even prohibition laws in some areas, have been enacted by local authorities. So they are dumping it out right in your face fromt the back of pickups, Motorhomes and delivery trucks. Our Govt at work.
tmoore, one is Navajo Reservation around Grants NM. Don't drink that water.
I think you've got things a little mixed up there - fla-gypsyExplorerHaving worked for a large corporation for 30+ years and knowing the integrity and dedication that is required to flourish inside this organization I find the snipes about big companies and their lack of integrity quite foreign. On the other hand judging the work and compensation packages of my local govt against the private sector in my geographic region I find the govt requirements and plans to be nothing but gravy train for those on them.
- TargaExplorerNo dispute there, when it comes down to it we have it pretty good.

Thank God for the USA where it's every Americans constitutional right to complain about our government ,politicians and agencies without fear of reprisal!
Perfect? No we are not.
Best in the world? Yes we are ! - Passin_ThruExplorerAnd then they run Urea into exhaust systems and super heat it and dump it to atmosphere with no proof that it is harmless whatsoever. Watch your Grandkids have Elephant trunks and alligator tails.

Working in the Freedom of Information department she knew the polluted places in the Southwest US to avoid. - popeyemthExplorer

It's all fun and games to mock the EPA and the civil servants there but the alternative is Bejing where one can't see 10 feet for the filth in the air.

On a side note popeye, I love Owensboro. My family is right across the Ohio from you in Evansville.
Evansville is not too shabby either :)
Just bought my new Coachman at Basden RV there.
Haven't used it yet but this forum sure has me itching to go :) - TargaExplorer

X2....we do need agency's like the EPA. My problem with them is that they are a bit to radical with there regulations, its not just the EPA but any regulatory committee, what ever happened to moderation and common sense with these agency's? Thats a rhetorical question, I know what happened, I think tplife summed it up pretty well.

EPA fraud
I am not anti-government or anti-EPA by any means- I have two very young sons that I hope can breathe clean air when they're 60- but I found this to be a sad commentary and a reminder that we should never blindly trust those in power.
Let's hope that your sons learn to read before they are old enough to enlist or vote. The fraud was in an employee claiming to be a CIA operative to avoid showing up for work. That a CIA employee lied to their boss is hardly surprising when the CIA has been lying to the American people for more than 65 years.
As Harry Truman stated "I never would have agreed to the formulation of the Central Intelligence Agency back in forty-seven, if I had known it would become the American Gestapo."
And that was before all the CIA shananigans under the direction of Bush-Cheney that got us into two wars at a cost of more than $3 trillion - which your sons will be working to paying off.
Care to clarify that comment? PM is fine if you prefer.
I don't want to make any assumptions as to your intent with that statement. - Engineer9860ExplorerOh brother.......
Some of you people are really full of yourselves. :R
